Terms & Conditions

1. Participation in the Hampshire Business Awards 2010 is by online entry through the website or official entry form only. Each organisation can enter more than one award, but a separate entry must be submitted for each award.

 2. Entries may be submitted by individuals or teams, but all entries must be authorised by the organisation they represent.

3. The competition is open to Hampshire and Isle of Wight based companies or subsidiaries of national and international businesses which have a major presence in the county.

4. Participants for all three awards will be expected to demonstrate tangible success, preferably (although not exclusively) in quantifiable form. Actual evidence of success may be requested by the judges.

5. The copyright to all material assembled by the organisers of the awards will remain with the organisers and may be used for the purpose of publicising the awards.

6. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence on their decision will be entered into.

7. The judges reserve the right to withdraw or transfer any of the awards at their absolute discretion.

8. Finalists will be expected to attend the gala awards dinner when the winners will be announced, and to agree to publicity in the Southern Daily Echo.

Bond Pearce LLP, KPMG LLP and RBS (sponsors).  By filling in this entry form your details, including any personal data on the form, will be provided to each of the sponsors.  Your personal data is protected in the UK by the Data Protection Act 1998.  Under this act the sponsors will only process the data held about you in a lawful and fair manner.  The sponsors will keep your data securely to prevent unauthorised access by third parties.  The information you provide will be used by the Hampshire Business Awards judging panel to verify your entry against the entry criteria for the relevant award category.  The judging panel will comprise members of the sponsoring firms and have independent representation.  If you wish to review a list of each of the panel members please contact entries@hampshirebusinessawards.co.uk.  The sponsors may also need to pass your details to third parties involved in organising the Hampshire Business Awards, but this will be for organisation purposes only.   Each of the sponsors would like to keep you informed by email or post of selected future events or information which may be of interest to you.  If you do not want to receive any such mailings please email info@hampshirebusinessawards.co.uk
