The Judging Process
Each award is judged by a panel of experts from the Hampshire business community, all of whom have significant experience of what it takes to run a successful company in the county.
The judging process is as follows:
- All online entrants will receive acknowledgement of their entry by email on submission. Postal entries will be acknowledged within 14 days of receipt;
- an initial selection process takes place to draw up a shortlist of companies which will go on to the next stage of the competition;
- shortlisted companies will be visited by representatives of the judging panel throughout July to gain more detailed information;
- the judging panel will then meet to review the shortlist and draw up the list of three finalists in each category. The finalists will be announced in early August;
- a short film will be produced on the three finalists in each category throughout the second half of August and early September, which will be aired at the awards dinner. This provides an opportunity for key members of the company's management team to showcase the firm's achievements.
