The Judging Process

Each award is judged by a panel of experts from the Hampshire business community, all of whom have significant experience of what it takes to run a successful company in the county.

The judging process is as follows:

• All online entrants will receive acknowledgement of their entry by email on submission. Postal entries will be acknowledged within 14 days of receipt;
• an initial selection process takes place to draw up a shortlist of companies which will go on to the next stage of the competition;
• shortlisted companies will be visited by representatives of the judging panel at the end of June and early July to gain more detailed information;
• the judging panel will then meet to review the shortlist and draw up the list of three finalists in each category. The finalists will be announced in mid August;
• a short film will be produced on the three finalists in each category at the end of August/early September, which will be aired at the awards dinner.  This provides an opportunity for key members of the company's management team to showcase the firm's achievements.
